Rob Gallo

Bainbridge Island, Wash., October 24, 2018—Health Systems informatics (HSi), a healthcare consulting and solutions firm, announced today Robert H. Gallo has joined the company as the Vice President of Business Development.  Gallo will be joining the executive team responsible for the strategic business growth in North America.

Gallo has over 15 years of leadership experience, beginning at Epic Systems Corporation and advancing his career within the consulting community.  He brings an exceptional depth and breadth of industry knowledge from executive advisory and hospital operations to IT system and process expertise and project management—all with a priority on customer satisfaction.  His proven ability to develop top talent and build high-performing teams focusing on the alignment of patient care and technology will be key in growing HSi’s customer base.

“I am excited to have such a professional and accomplished individual as Rob join our management team,” says Gerry Bartley, Chairman and CEO of HSi. “Rob’s background and past achievements will provide HSi continued success in the EHR consulting arena. His knowledge of EHR systems and vast network within the healthcare community definitely position us for success.”

Most recently, Gallo was the Midwest Regional Director for Accenture’s EMR consulting practice, responsible for sales, delivery and executive relationships.  He has a strong track record of building successful sales teams that continually exceeded goals, increasing year-over-year sales by 50%. Gallo also has extensive hands-on experience with EHR system implementations, touting over eleven major Epic implementations including inpatient and outpatient applications, reporting and integrations to other IT systems. During his time at Epic Systems, he led the “Crisis Center’ for go-live problems and received a “10 out of 10” in customer satisfaction for quality service, efficiency and speed of problem resolutions for every engagement.

“Rob is a perfect match for HSi.  Throughout his career he has been an advocate on many of the values we hold dear. HSi takes pride in delivering first-rate consulting services with a boutique feel. Rob’s leadership style and interpersonal skills align with our customer-centric approach and his experience and knowledge working with large health systems will be instrumental in future business growth,” says Scott Generazo, Executive Vice President of HSi. “He will have an immediate influence on HSi‘s core business areas, including EHR vendor selection, implementation and support and healthcare information and analytics.”

“HSi has had a tremendous impact on the healthcare organizations they serve and it’s an honor to join their team,” says Gallo.  “I’m excited to help HSi continue to grow and evolve and share my passion for healthcare IT with our new and existing clients.”

Gallo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with double majors in Marketing and International Business at Washington University Olin School of Business and an MBA with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  He also holds multiple Epic certifications.
